The Students’ Scientific-research Work
The Students’ Scientific-research Work is a means of strengthening and deepening of the acquiring knowledge, formation of an active and thinking personality, development of his/her intellectual abilities. Knowledge, habits and skills in the field of scientific research are the first consideration in training future specialists.
The Department makes all efforts to intensify, on the one hand, the students’ motivation for the languages study, on the other hand, to stimulate the creative activity of the teachers.
There were created the problem groups and the students’ scientific circle:
N.Ya. Plotnikova conducts the problem group “Joining the ethno-cultural sphere of the studied language”.
L.V. Volkova conducts the problem group “Problems of Linguistics and Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages”.
Professor S.B. Zagatova conducts the scientific student group “Semantics of the Word and the Issues of Translation”.
The participation of our students in the inter-universities scientific conferences of the students and Master Degree students is organized by EAGI every year.
In 2015 our students took an active part in the work of the XVII –th inter-universities scientific conference of the students and Master Degree students “Science and the New Generation – 2015”, devoted to the 20-th anniversary of the Eurasian Humanities Institute.
The objects of the research of the following students are devoted to the necessity of considering the dynamic aspect of translation, the translation as a process: Abdiyeva A., Seitkaliyeva Z., Shubayeva A, Amangheldinova A., Saduakassova A., Bekdissinova Zh., Balmaganbetova Z., Abuova A., Armanova N.
In this scientific direction the following reports are especially to be marked; Abdiyeva A. «Ағылшын тіліндегі адамның көніл-күіне байланысты фразеологимдердің казақ тіліне аударылу мәселесі», Shubayeva A. «Медициналдық терминдерді аударылу мәселесі» (Scientific supervisor, Master of Pedagogical Science, Senior teacher Alipbekova L.U.), Amangheldinova A. “Peculiarities of translating humour from English into Russian” (Scientific Supervisor, Docent Ilyassova A.U.), Bekdissinova Zh. «Peculiarities of translating phrasal verbs (on the material of literary texts)” (scientific supervisor Docent Arenova G.U.).
We should also mention the reports on linguistic issues. The works of the students: Alibek N., Kassenova S., Torezhanova G., Petrenko Yu., Kozlova E., Abdullinova N., Amangheldinova A., Suleimenova D., Kahramanova V., Orazbayeva B., Kisseleva Ye., Zhussupova M., Tassbulatova L., Ibadildina Zh., Kalmenova Zh., Sundetova K. were devoted to syntactic, morphological and semantic peculiarities of the English language and also to the problems of text and discourse.

The issues of modern methods of teaching a foreign language, i.e.: implication of new informative technologies in the process of teaching a foreign language at school were devoted the researches of the students: Aknazarov D., Matkovskaya Ye., Sedahmetova D.
We are delighted to mark that the students in their researches study the linguistic problems, analyze the materials, suggest the original solutions and put forward their provisions for defense.
